This feasibility study evaluates the implementation of a 100MW/200MWh Lithium-Iron Phosphate (LFP) Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Vietnam to address grid stability issues caused by the rapid expansion of solar and wind capacity. With Vietnam's commitment to Net Zero by 2050 and the increasing curtailment of renewable energy in the central and southern provinces, BESS offers a critical solution for frequency regulation and peak shaving. The project demonstrates strong financial viability supported by emerging regulatory frameworks for ancillary services.

## Market Analysis Vietnam has seen an unprecedented surge in renewable energy, with solar and wind now accounting for over 25% of installed capacity. However, the national grid (EVN) faces significant congestion. The Market Outlook indicates a transition toward a competitive wholesale electricity market (VWEM), where BESS can monetize frequency control and energy arbitrage. ## Technical Feasibility The facility will utilize high-density LFP cells for safety and longevity (6000+ cycles). Technical requirements include integration with EVN's SCADA system for automated frequency restoration reserves (aFRR). Thermal management will be liquid-cooled to handle Vietnam's tropical climate. ## Financial Projections Total Capex is estimated at $85M.
